Chao Phraya River is the main river in Thailand, which has a length of about 372 kilometers. This river divides Bangkok into two regions, besides that, this river is also very much traveled by water transportation, which indeed aims to cross the Chao Phraya River. This Tourist Boat stops on 9 pier and departs from Sathorn Pier (Central Pier) which is located not far from Saphan Taksin BTS Station. But you can also take another boat, like the No Flag boat. You will feel more typical Thai atmosphere, if you use the No Flag.

If you are using a tourist ferry, you have to determine your destination, by looking at the color of the flag on the ship. At this dock there is no counter for ticket payments, because payments are made on the Ferry. To go to Wat Arun Temple, then you will stop at the Tha Tien pier.
