Wat Pho is Buddhist temple complex that many tourists visit in Thailand. Inside there is a large Buddha statue with a lying position, or often called the Sleeping Buddha. The statue became a famous icon at Wat Pho. To enter it, tourists will be charged around 100 Baht, and open daily at 8 am to 5 pm. This place is a very sacred place, so tourists must dress up covering their hands and feet until the ankles.
 
The location of Wat Pho Temple is not far from the Grand Palace, which is a famous tourist spot, so Wat Pho temple is visited by many tourists who come from the Grand Palace.
This temple certainly has a history that many visitors want to know. This temple is the oldest temple in Bangkok. This temple has been established 200 years before Bangkok became the capital of Thailand. Formerly this temple was named Wat Phodara.
